29 weeks

first mommies day / 26.4 weeks

I woke up to this awesome gift from Tyler...











































Then I went outside to find him building me a "jasmine wall" to beautify our back yard and as I was filling up my birdy seed feeder he took a bunch of pictures of me.



















































































































Tomorrow marks 29 weeks and I am now in my third trimester. She is really big in there! At the last midwife appointment I felt her head (it was head-down!) and my mom got to come and heard her heart beat on the doppler. I had my glucose test which meant I got to eat a king size snicker bar for breakfast before having my blood drawn. Yummy!

We are learning so much in our Bradley Method class and I am feeling more empowered and less nervous about labor. Hopefully, we will be able to get a level 2 ultrasound (just to clear up some things from the last ultrasound) but are having some trouble finding somewhere to get it done (hospitals request an OB to schedule it). We are waiting to hear from Gina (our midwife) about it.

jackie's new friend.

Tif and Rock visited the day after my birthday. Jackie is smitten... but so is Rocket. Also, Rock enjoyed swimming on the floor and rolling over with help from mom. A few days later he did it himself!

So I turned 28 on May 4th. Here are lovely flowers from Tyler and my parents.



































Tylers parents sent me a gift card to barnes and nobles. I used it to buy the complete Beatrix Potter collection, Guess How Much I Love You, and On the Night You Were Born (which is perhaps the loveliest book ever). Oh and I definitely NEED this by the time baby gets here: The Wonder of You

I spent the day running around doing errands and picking out paint at Home Depot with my mommy.

I was having my glucose test done the following weeks and in preperation for it I was not eating refined sugars or complex carbs so I am still waiting on that birthday cake.
